The Hot Baked Goods

Redwood Coast Music Festival 2019 Performing Artist

The Hot Baked Goods are a band of young jazz musicians playing hot tunes and dance music from the 20s and 30s. Most of the band members started as swing dancers, and became so infatuated with the music that they decided to make some themselves. Thus The Hot Baked Goods was founded in October 2012 on a concrete staircase in Dolores Park.

After playing for passing MUNI trains over a few months, and many rehearsals in Clint Baker’s living room in San Bruno, they were encouraged to move our operation to a more central location. And so was born, Saturdays at the Dolores Park Playground.

Friends came to dance, eat, and be merry, children clapped, wiggled, and giggled, parents asked them to play for their kid’s birthdays. It was a joyous time. This continued for about a year and a half, until they became too busy with gigs to play in the park on a regular basis.

Now the band's time is filled with playing for dance events, weddings, and parties. Their excitement, passion, and love for the music sustains them even now, over 5 years later.

We're excited to bring these fantastic young musicians to Redwood Coast Music Festival for 2019!
